Meet the Founder
The short version: I build things that work.
I spent the early part of my career working directly with small business owners, building the operational systems, websites, and
platforms they needed to run their businesses more effectively. I started my first business in 2012, and over the next decade I worked
with companies across manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, and professional services. I grew up in a small business family in central Kansas
(my dad ran an auto shop in Hutchinson for 33 years) so none of this was ever abstract to me.
In 2022, I moved into enterprise software engineering, where I worked on embedded avionics systems for a commercial jet program (the
flight instrumentation that pilots interact with in the cockpit). It is a domain where precision, reliability, and accountability are not
optional, and the experience raised my standards for everything I build. But I came back to small business because the problem-solving is
more interesting, the relationships are more direct, and the work matters to someone specific.
I founded Stratelios in 2025 to bring that enterprise rigor to the businesses that actually need it. I work directly with every client.
There is no account manager, no offshore team, and no layer between you and the person responsible for your project. My average client
relationship is over eight years, and that is not just a marketing statistic. It is a reflection of how I think about the work and my client relationships. I would
rather build something that lasts, on both accounts.
If you are evaluating whether to work with me, here is what I think matters most: I take your trust seriously. I will tell you when
something does not make sense for your business, even if it means referring you to another service provider. I will explain what I am doing and why, in terms that
make sense to you. And I will be the same person on month one as I am on month forty.
